Class Descriptions
Chair Yoga - Level 1 offers an opportunity for people of all abilities to experience the benefits of seated Holy Yoga and Level 2 invites participants to add in standing poses and bursts of cardio. Both classes utilize light hand weights, yoga straps, blocks and other props for a fun workout - for mind, body and spirit. All levels welcome.
Gentle Yoga - Combines breath work and mindful movements and many times props to relax the nervous system. All levels welcome.
Mat Pilates - This class builds strength and tones the entire body. A workout for those who wish to see results. All welcome.
Outdoor Yoga - (Begins June 6, 2026) Enjoy yoga with a view of the mountains of Great Hollow Nature Preserve in New Fairfield. Class takes place on the deck under the shade of a giant Oak tree. Proceeds benefit Great Hollow.
"Son" Salutations - Learn proper alignment, breath control and areas of muscular engagement for various Son Salutations. All levels welcome.
Soul Flow Express - a 45-minute class to help you breathe, move and pray take on the rest of your day.
Vinyasa Flow - A traditional Holy Yoga class that incorporates scripture, breath and movement. Back bends, arm balances and inversions may be explored depending on abilities of participants. Some experience recommended.
Yoga for Strength - This class combines Hatha yoga asana with light hand weights and resistance bands to build endurance and tone muscle. Perfect for all levels.
