CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
ALIGN & REFINE- (ALL LEVELS HATHA YOGA)
Extra time and instruction are given to help students come into optimal alignment for their body in classical yoga postures. Class focuses on strength, alignment and perseverance. Great for beginners or advanced students who wish to refine their practice.
CARDIO YOGA SCULPT - (ALL LEVELS CARDIO)
Hand weights are incorporated into traditional exercises along with core work and functional movements to increase your heart rate as well as tone and sculpt body and soul.
CHAIR YOGA
Chairs are utilized in this specialty class to bring the great joy of Holy Yoga to people of all ages and abilities through physical worship, breath and mediation. Great for those returning to their practice from injury.
HOLY YOGA FLOW - (OPEN LEVEL YOGA)
A Holy Yoga vinyasa practice incorporating daily inspirational mediations combined with breathwork, and yoga sequences designed to lift your mind, body and soul to God.
MONDAY MORNING MOVES - (ALL LEVELS HATHA YOGA)
Slow and gentle, traditional poses are introduced in non-traditional ways to allow you to access poses and mindfulness to bring your heart closer to God. Perfect for those brand new to yoga .
OUTDOOR GENTLE YOGA - (SEASONAL - ALL LEVELS YOGA)
Yoga on deck at Great Hollow Nature Preserve. A portion of class proceeds goes right back to Great Hollow to support their on going educational programs and research. If rainy or chilly, class will take place in the center's red barn. Just follow the signs for yoga.
SOUL CARE CIRCLE - (MEDITATION & MINDFULNESS)
Enjoy coffee, tea and pastries in community while being guided through various spiritual disciplines that help you grow closer to God.
SOUL FITNESS (MINI-TRAMPOLINE WORKOUT)
This fun, low impact, fusion-style class offers a combination of exercises using mini-trampolines and light hand weights to increase balance, muscle tone and overall fitness to elevate your mind, body and soul.
SOUL RESTORE - (RESTORATIVE YOGA)
Restoration of mind, body and soul is enhanced through a series of yoga poses supported by props and guided Lectio Divina meditation. All welcome.
VIGOROUS VINYASA - (INTERMEDIATE YOGA)
An athletic, breath-guided practice incorporating creative, intentional, dynamic sequences to advance your practice and help you create a balanced mind, body and spirit. Arm balances and inversions explored. Not for those brand new to yoga, or injuries; at least one year of regular yoga practice recommended.
VINYASA IN THE VINEYARD (All Levels)
All-levels yoga class overlooking the vineyards of White Silo Winery in Sherman, CT. Boxed lunches and additional refreshments available for separate purchase after class. Holidays only. Check schedule for dates. Register on-line.
YOGALATES (All Levels)
A combination of yoga postures with Pilates abdominal work. Ideal for those looking for core strengthening.
