Class Descriptions
 
Ball-Asana - This class combines, Pilates movements and yoga to increase balance while strengthening their core using the Swiss Exercise Ball and light hand weights.  Prepare to laugh and have a ball! All welcome.

Chair Yoga - Level 1 offers an opportunity for people of all abilities to experience the benefits of seated Holy Yoga and Level 2 invites participants to add in standing poses and bursts of cardio. Both classes utilize light hand weights, yoga straps, blocks and other props for a fun workout - for mind, body and spirit. All levels welcome.

Gentle Yoga - Combines breathwork and mindful movements and many times props to relax the nervous system. All levels welcome.

 
Jump & Pump! - Students are taught how to use a mini-trampoline properly so they may experience the many physical and emotional health benefits of rebounding. Sequences are integrated with the use of lights hand weights for a well-rounded workout. Students encouraged to wear grippy socks or indoor sneakers if more foot support is needed. All levels welcome.

Kick, Box & Stretch - Learn easy and fun kickboxing combinations for a cardio workout and then cool down with focused core-work and end with a full-body stretch. Great for those looking for a bit more cardio in their fitness routine.

Outdoor Yoga - (Seasonal) Enjoy yoga with a view of the mountains of Great Hollow Nature Preserve in New Fairfield. Class takes place on the deck under the shade of a giant Oak tree. Proceeds benefit Great Hollow.

"Son" Salutations - Learn proper alignment, breath control and areas of muscular engagement for various Son Salutations. All levels welcome.

Vinyasa Flow - A traditional Holy Yoga class that incorporates scripture, breath and movement. Back bends, arm balances and inversions may be explored depending on abilities of participants. Some experience recommended. 

Yoga Express - a 45-minute class to help you breathe, move and pray take on the rest of your day.

Yoga for Strength - This class combines Hatha yoga asana with light hand weights and resistance bands to build endurance and tone muscle. Perfect for all levels. 

Yogalates & More - This class combines, Pilates movements and yoga to build strength and tone the entire body.  A workout for those who wish to see results. All welcome.
